Invitation to the Presentation of the Terminological Dictionary of Animal Husbandry and Zootechnics
After several years of work, the Terminological Dictionary of Animal Husbandry and Zootechnics has finally been published. It is the first systematic terminology dictionary in this field; experts have compiled nearly 4,000 terms, defined them, and provided their English equivalents.
What is the difference between animal husbandry and zootechnics, between food and feed, between a rabbit and a hare? What does the dictionary offer, how should it be used, and who is it intended for? You can find out this and much more at the
presentationof the Terminological Dictionary of Animal Husbandry and Animal Science,
which will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Knights’ Hall of the Department of Animal Science, UL BF, Groblje 3, Domžale.
