Content (Syllabus outline)

Fundamental elements of landscape, such as landscape parks, public green space, cemetery, frontgardens, private gardens, productive gardens, representative gardens which form the landscape. The students are acquainted with the principal techniques in landscape construction and maintenance: ground work, construction types, materials in landscape horticulture, vegetation and technical works. The course offers the knowledge on setting, design and maintenance of special landscape structures, which form landscape areas. In this scope the planning and maintenance of lawns, water motives, roof gardens, children’s playgrounds etc. is presented.

Enrolment in the appropriate academic year.

Conditions for performing study obligations

Prerequisite for final exam is passing preliminary examination and submission of seminar paper.
