- specialized information technology (ICT) to support the production process: for the production and distribution of information, for production and stocks monitoring, for the computerization of the logistical processes, provision of mobility; computer networks and services for production,
- technology and approaches for tracking, collection and archiving of data/documents: barcode, microchips (RFID), electronic imaging (OCR), hierarchical data storage, media for archiving and their characteristics.
- modern computer and information services for the business world (e-commerce and Internet services),
- security and protection in computer systems.
