Guest lecture by Giacomo Guzzone: Visionary - Gardens and Landscapes for our Future
The Department of Landscape Architecture at the Biotechnical Faculty invites you to a guest lecture by renowned landscape architect Giacomo Guzzone, Head of the Planting Group at Gillespies International in London.
Giacomo Guzzon is an expert with extensive experience in green space design. He has worked on projects for many years at the University of Greenwich, the University of Sheffield and the School of Design in London. His lectures have captivated audiences at numerous international conferences, including in Hong Kong, USA, UK, Italy, Norway and Germany.
In his lecture entitled Visionary: Gardens and Landscapes for our Future, Guzzon will present inspiring examples of private and public gardens from around the world. Designed with sustainability and climate change adaptation in mind, these gardens are moving away from carefully tended areas towards drought-tolerant plantings with local vegetation that are more adapted to changing climatic conditions.
