Living Library in the framework of BioFair and Career Days of the Biotechnical Faculty 

The Biotechnical Faculty in collaboration with the BioFair team, invites students of biology, microbiology and biotechnology to a special workshop - the Living Library, which will take place as a pre-event of the Career Days of the Faculty of Biotechnics.

The event offers a unique opportunity to have direct contact with employers: UKC Ljubljana, Novartis, Sandoz and the National Institute of Biology (NIB).

 

What is the Living Library?

The Living Library is an interactive workshop that gives students an insight into the daily life of different professions. Employees from the participating organisations will present their work experience and specific jobs, and students will have the opportunity to ask them questions about the tasks, challenges, projects and skills needed to be successful in their chosen fields.

The event is not focused on presenting the companies as a whole, but on showing the real working environment of individual professionals, which gives a better idea of possible career paths.
