The melody of wine: our varieties, our pride?

Food and Nutrition students are once again invited to the Melody of Wine event, which will be dedicated to Slovenian indigenous varieties - their importance, potential and challenges in modern viticulture and marketing.
In the first part, we will hold a wine and viticulture round table with:
Prof. Dr. Guillaume Antalick,
Prof. Dr. Denis Rusjan and
Nejc Bork (Ptuj winery).
In the second part, a round table on the gastronomic and marketing potential of Slovenian varieties with sommeliers will be held:
Simona Česen (Wine Bar Šuklje),
Vanessa Centrih (Vila Planinka) and
The event will be moderated by Vanna Plančina (Vana Plančina) and Matej Lavrenčič (Merit HP).
The discussion will be moderated by student and young winemaker Blaž Pečarič.
After the expert part, you will have the opportunity to take part in a relaxed social gathering with the winemakers, where you will be able to taste different wines, mainly from indigenous varieties, and chat with the winemakers about all topics related to Slovenian viticulture.
The expert part of the programme is free of charge, but a voluntary contribution of €5 is recommended for the tasting and the banquet. The deposit for a tasting glass is an additional €5.
