Biotechnical faculty (Wood department) of the University of Ljubljana invites students of 2nd and 3rd year of secondary schools and technical secondary schools to the summer school "Forest - natural wealth and future", which will take place from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in Bohinj.
Over four days, participants will explore forests and wood with scientific curiosity, gain practical knowledge through a research approach and discover career opportunities in wood and science. The summer school includes field work, microscopic wood analysis, wood product making, exploring the resonance properties of wood and much more.
In addition to the highly interesting content, participation is extremely affordable - the cost of the four-day school with accommodation and full board is just €50.
