At the end of this year, the National Institute of Biology is finishing the European Twinning project CutCancer (https://www.cutcancer.si/, FB, Instagram). The project focuses on the implementation of state-of-the-art approaches and methodologies in the field of preclinical cancer research in Slovenia. To this end, a final conference will be held at the National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana between 22 and 23 October 2025 to bring together the project consortium and the scientific sessions. 

You are cordially invited to attend the event. We believe that the event will be an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and explore new avenues for future research and innovation. Your presence at the event would be extremely valuable. 

The CutCancer project involves the National Institute of Biology collaborating with international partners Swansea University (UK), Stockholm University (Sweden) and Amsterdam University Medical Center (The Netherlands).  

Around 120 national and international experts in oncology, cancer research and toxicology, including physicians, biologists, biotechnologists, bioinformaticians and computer scientists, are expected to attend the conference. The conference will be held in English.
