Glossaries are not just words, but bridges between profession, practice and policy. Ten years in the making, the Agronomic Terminology Dictionary enables accurate professional communication, faster knowledge transfer and easier implementation of modern technologies in agriculture. For Slovenian food production, this means more professionalism, more resilience and better decisions.


The Dictionary is the result of the collaboration of many experts from the Department of Agronomy at UL BF: Rajko Bernik, Franci Aco Celar, Rozalija Cvejić, Jure Čop, Zalika Črepinšek, Tanja Fajfar, Marko Flajšman, Matjaž Glavan, Helena Grčman, Metka Hudina, Mateja Jemec Tomazin, Nina Kacjan Maršić, Lučka Kajfež Bogataj (until 2017), Darja Kocjan Ačko, Miran Lakota, Rok Mihelič, Gregor Osterc, Anton Perpar, Marina Pintar, Tjaša Pogačar (from 2017), Tomaž Prus (until 2019), Denis Rusjan, Andrej Simončič, Denis Stajnko, Andreja Sušnik, Stanislav Trdan, Valentina Usenik, Janko Verbič, Matej Vidrih, Vesna Zupanc and Ana Žust.
