Dear Sir or Madam,

You are cordially invited to the 3rd KAEPP seminar on Discrete Choice Evaluations (DCE) as a tool for evaluating environmental and social preferences, which will take place on Friday, 7 November, from 14.00 to 15.30. The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, in the Chamber Hall of the Department of Zootechnics and at this link.
The lectures will be given by Dr Anže Japelj and Kaja Plevnik from the Slovenian Forestry Institute. They will present the basic principles of the DCE method, an increasingly established tool for understanding social and environmental preferences, explain the design of such experiments, and show examples of applications in their research in the field of environmental policy and forestry.

The Chair in Agricultural Economics, Policy and Law (KAEPP) organises seminars several times a year, covering a wide range of topics, from presentations on research methods to topical issues in agrarian economics, agricultural policy, environment and rural areas. They are aimed at researchers, teaching assistants and PhD students who wish to deepen their understanding of the methods, tools or theoretical frameworks we encounter in our work. We place particular emphasis on openness and collaboration, as we often run seminars in collaboration with guests from other institutions.

You are very welcome,

Ana Novak
