You are invited to the 16th Slovenian Hunting Day, which will take place on Saturday, 15 November 2025, in Ljubljana (Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources, Večna pot 83).


The 16th Slovenian Hunting Day will focus on the increasingly topical issue of encroachment on wildlife habitat.

The speakers will present, among others: (i) the problems of environmental interventions in terms of game and their habitat; (ii) changes in space and the resulting changes in game populations over time; (iii) ecological connectivity in Slovenia and the roles of different landscape elements in maintaining the connectivity of space for game; (iv) the substantive and legal aspects of the procedures for the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
