The Open Lecture Week of the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, is coming in 2026

Between March 2 and 6, 2026, the UL BF will open its doors to high school students interested in studying natural sciences, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, food science and nutrition, agronomy, forestry, wood science, landscape architecture, animal science, and other fields related to natural resources and sustainable development.

During this week, students will be able to attend regular lectures at various departments of the faculty free of charge, get to know the study environment, professors, students, and the content of individual study programs, and gain a genuine insight into academic life at the Biotechnical faculty. The purpose of the event is to help young people decide on their further education and give them an idea of what it is like to study at university level.

No prior registration for lectures is required, except in cases where this is expressly stated in the program. The list of lectures will be published at a later date.

Students who attend lectures in the morning can obtain a certificate of justified absence from school. To obtain a certificate, they can contact the Career Center of the UL BF at .
