The University of Ljubljana Botanical Garden is organizing a three-day festival dedicated to snowdrops to mark the release of a new publication and the presentation of new varieties.
Friday, February 27

10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Mr. Snowdrop's research notebook (greenhouse admission fee)
3:00 p.m. Presentation of the collection of common snowdrop varieties (free)
3:00–6:00 p.m. Face painting for children (free)
4:00–6:00 p.m. Snowdrop bag – bag painting (€5)
4:00 p.m. Guided tour "Early Spring in the Botanical Garden" (€5)
Saturday, February 28
10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Snowdrop sales exhibition (free)
10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Mr. Snowdrop's research notebook (greenhouse admission fee)
10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Public workshop "Let's get to know snowdrops and plant them!" (€5)

10:00 a.m. Lecture: Snowdrops in the Czech Republic (Dr. Pavel Sekerka, Pruhonice Botanical Garden)
11:00 a.m. Lecture: "Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis L.) – a widely researched plant around the world and at home" (Dr. Jože Bavcon and Dr. Blanka Ravnjak)
13.00 Presentation of the variety collection (free of charge)
