Jesenko Awards and Recognitions

In 2026, the Jesenko Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m. The recipients of both the Jesenko Awards and the Faculty Recognitions will be present in the Assembly Hall.

The Biotechnical Faculty has been awarding Jesenko Awards since 1973. Three awards are presented: the Jesenko Award for lifetime achievement, the Jesenko Award for the best doctoral graduate, and the Jesenko Award for the best master's graduate. In addition to the Jesenko Awards, the Biotechnical Faculty will also present the following awards an award to an individual or group from the Biotechnical Faculty (teachers and researchers) a faculty award to an individual or group from the BF (non-teaching staff), a faculty award to an individual outside the BF, and a faculty award to the best student in each of the faculty's first and second cycle study programs.
