Dear students!


The Biotechnical Faculty will once again host the Vegova Mathematics Competition this year. The competition consists of two stages. In the school competition, called Mathematical Kangaroo, you can win a bronze award. In the national competition, you can win a silver or gold award, which are considered exceptional achievements for Zois scholarships.


The Math Kangaroo school competition will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in lecture hall Ž1 at the Department of Food Science, UL BF, Jamnikarjeva 101, Ljubljana.
All students compete in one group, and the time limit is 60 minutes. No special mathematical knowledge is required for the competition, as the questions are multiple choice. The link below provides access to tasks from previous school and national competitions:
