Join an inspiring workshop with Mentor of the Year 2024, Prof. Dr. Matej Černe, entitled Creativity and Innovation in the Workplace, and discover how to awaken innovative thinking, encourage creativity, and co-create an environment where ideas truly come to life.

The workshop is intended for students and focuses on the development of key competencies that represent an important advantage in a rapidly changing business environment. Its goal is to encourage creative processes in solving open problems and transforming innovative ideas into feasible, practical solutions. Through an interactive approach and concrete examples, participants will learn about contemporary methods for promoting creativity and innovation, including the distinction between creativity and innovation, techniques for generating ideas, ways of collecting and evaluating ideas, and strategies for overcoming obstacles that inhibit innovative potential. The relevance of the workshop stems from the reality of modern knowledge work, where rapid adaptability, creative thinking, and innovative approaches are key to success. Since creativity and innovation are no longer limited to "creative" industries or the business world, the workshop offers useful tools that participants can use to more easily develop, justify, and effectively implement their ideas in their studies, projects, or future work environment.

Presenter: Prof. Dr. Matej Černe
Matej Černe is a full professor of management and organization at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. His research, teaching, and consulting work focuses on innovation, creativity, organizational behavior and psychology, and the digitization of work.
