The 7th KAEPP seminar, titled "The FADN/FSDN System and Its Potential for Analytical Use," will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, both in the auditorium of the Department of Animal Science and via this link.
The FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network) system is the primary source of accounting data on agricultural holdings in the European Union and serves as a crucial data foundation for monitoring the economic situation of farms and for the formulation and evaluation of agricultural policy. With its expansion into the FSDN (Farm Sustainability Data Network), its significance is further extending to the field of sustainable farming practices.

At the seminar, Dr. Maja Kožar (KIS) will present the FADN/FSDN system, while in the second part, Feliks Možina and Dr. Andrej Kuštrin (UMAR) will present a study titled “Food Security and Self-Sufficiency as an Example of Good Practice in the Analytical Use of Such Data.”
