PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE AND HACKATHON ON GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
We invite you to a professional conference and hackathon on green infrastructure as part of the ZeleNatura project, Interreg Slovenia–Croatia 2021–2027.

The event is jointly organized by the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Agronomy and the Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Ljubljana with the aim of promoting the development of sustainable, climate-resilient, and biodiverse urban spaces.
PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE
The professional conference is intended for experts, researchers, students, and anyone interested in green infrastructure and urban space management.

- Practical and project-based solutions for the future
The program includes presentations by project partners, experts, and researchers, as well as a presentation of the hackathon results.
Attendance at the conference is free with prior registration, and the program is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.

GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE HACKATHON
The hackathon is specifically intended for students and young professionals in the fields of biotechnology, landscape architecture, and related sciences.
Registration will take place from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m., followed by team formation and the start of the workshop. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams (3–5 members) to develop a conceptual yet feasible solution for improving the degraded space. The location of the task will be revealed on the day of the event.
Participants are expected to incorporate elements of green infrastructure, improve biodiversity, the microclimate, and the climate resilience of the space, and preserve its social and educational functions while taking into account technical and financial feasibility.
Prizes are available for the top teams.
