Laser Field Leveling for More Efficient Irrigation and Adaptation to Climate Change

The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia (KIS) and the Biotechnical faculty at the University of Ljubljana, as part of the IRP 38 project: PRIRAST, invite you to a workshop featuring a demonstration of laser field leveling, which will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the UL BF. 

Participants will learn about the importance of field leveling in the context of adapting to climate change and more efficient irrigation; part of the program will also feature a practical demonstration of leveling the BF field using a laser level.

The demonstration will take place on the Biotechnical Faculty’s laboratory field.

The program includes a presentation of the PRIRAST consortium, as well as expert lectures and a demonstration of the technical basics of field leveling. Participants will include Dr. Peter Dolničar from the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, Prof. Dr. Ana Slatnar from the UL BF, and Simon Ograjšek, the workshop coordinator.
The workshop is intended for students and anyone interested in the topic.
