Melody of Wine 2026: When Young Slovenian Winemakers Bring Global Knowledge Back Home

Students of Food Science and Nutrition at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, invite all wine enthusiasts to the fifth edition of Melody of Wine, taking place on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at 4 PM at the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana.

This year’s event will explore the global wine scene through the experiences of young Slovenian winemakers who studied, trained or participated in harvests abroad. The programme will feature an introductory lecture, two round-table discussions and a wine tasting with selected Slovenian winemakers and local culinary specialties.

The event combines education, practice and networking, offering valuable insights for both beginners and experienced wine lovers.

The professional programme is free of charge. A voluntary contribution of 5 EUR is recommended for the wine tasting and catering.
