Dear professors, students, biotechnology alumni and all other members of staff at the Biotechnical Faculty,
This year, the Biotechnology Students’ Society is organising the fourth Biotechnology Day, an event designed to give students of biotechnology and related disciplines a fresh perspective on their field of study, along with an opportunity to meet researchers, professors and company representatives and exchange experiences.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 in lecture hall D1. This year’s theme is Biotechnology Is All Around Us, and our aim is to showcase the wide range of fields in which biotechnology companies and researchers work. We are confident there will be something for everyone!
We will begin with short presentations by researchers from the Biotechnical Faculty and other Slovenian research institutions, followed by presentations from Slovenian biotechnology companies.
As the event is also an opportunity to socialise and get to know one another, it will once again feature music, refreshments and, new this year, a trivia quiz with prizes! Gather your team and sign up here:
