The equipment is a part of the External link to infrastructure centre Microscopy of Biological Samples Open in new window. It is available to external users by prior arrangement. The user can work alone or with an operator.
Purpose
Review of environmental and laboratory samples with eukaryotic or prokaryotic organisms. Fluorescence microscopy, differential contrast, phase contrast, bright field. Ability to count organisms and capture images, fluorescence quantification. FISH, expression of fluorescent proteins. Possibility of time-lapse monitoring simultaneously in confocal mode and transmitted light technique with optical stabilization.

The cost for the use of research equipment by a trained user is €47,85 per hour.
