Study programme learning outcomes

Upon completion of the study programme, graduates will be educated in a “T-shaped” profile, possessing integrative knowledge that bridges biosciences on one side and data and computational sciences on the other, along with strong competences in the analysis and interpretation of biological data. Graduates will have mastered statistical thinking and will be qualified to independently perform statistical analyses and provide statistical consulting. They will be capable of collaborating with research professionals, conveying knowledge and results, communicating professionally, and expressing themselves effectively in writing. They will be able to define problems, anticipate outcomes, and identify optimal solutions, as well as locate relevant sources and critically evaluate information. The applied orientation of the programme will enable the direct transfer of knowledge into practice and an understanding of the challenges that may arise in doing so. Due to the international orientation of the programme, students will also develop the ability to communicate in an international environment, as the core objectives of the Bioinformatics programme focus on global standards and needs, providing students with competitiveness and opportunities for employment at the international level.
