Methods of nature conservation (natural features, plant and animal species, ecosystems)
Legal status and measures (protected areas, contractual measures, temporal protection, and recovery.
Protected areas on international level (IUCN management categories).
Planning, assessments, financing
Participation, sectorial co-operation, non-governmental organisations, education and public awareness, communication, interpretation.
International law (treaties, ministerial conferences, EU legislation, including Natura 2000).
Nature conservation legislation in Slovenia.
Organisation of nature conservation in Slovenia and internationally (global and regional organisations).
Prerequisites
