Air humidity. Clouds classification and types of precipitations. Water balance of agricultural soils: soil water deficit. Snow cover. Thunderstorms. Evapotranspiration. Droughts and floods in Slovenia. Drought indices.
Solar and terrestrial radiation. Heat fluxes in the atmosphere. Conductive heat flux in the soils. Convection and advection. General and local winds. Air pollutants.
Weather maps. Short-term and seasonal weather forecasts. Local weather types. Usage of World Wide Web for weather information acquirement.
Frost and minimum temperatures forcasting. Wind barriers, protection against frost and hail. Phenological observations and their applications. Greenhouse effect in glass and plastic greenhouses. Influence of weather on plant diseases and pests.
Greenhouse effect, principles of Slovene climate and climate change in agriculture.

Conditions for inclusion in the work:
