Content (Syllabus outline)

Introduction to geodesy, coordinate system and determining the coordinates of new points. Measuring distances and horizontal angles, measuring differences in elevation, terrain surveying, GPS, elementary operations and stakeout. Plans and maps of Slovenia (type and how to order). Cadastre and Land Registry. Classification of land. Interchangeability, rounding land tenure and land consolidation. Optimum plot. The routes. Ecological structural elements in the agricultural landscape.
Agricultural land improvement. Small hydrological cycle. Surface runoff and erosion on agricultural land. Measures to prevent erosion. Water balance of soil profile. Soil water (quantity, tension, dynamic). The problem of excessive soil moisture and practical aspects of drainage and land drainage systems maintenance. The problem of drought and practical aspects of irrigation.

Conditions for inclusion in the work:

Enrolment in the appropriate academic year.

Prerequisite for final exam is passing preliminary examination.
