Monitoring of air quality
- quality parametrs of outdoor air and monitoring of air pollution: tropospheric ozone, N and S pollutants, metals, dust particles (PM 10)
Biomonitoring
- concepts and challenges
- cases of biomonitoring with higher plants, lichens and mosses in EU and Slovenia
Monitoring of nature
- monitoring of plant and animal populations
- monitoring of plant communities (associations)
- habiat monitoirng
Monitoring of soil and water quality
- basic legislation, concepts, indicators, state
- presentation and commnents on acquired data in Slovenia
Monitoring of soil and water polluters
- operational monitorings and cleaning devices, wastes depositsmonitoring
- operational monitoring in agriculture
- legislation, limitations and feasibility
Further use of monitoring data
- activities within ICP- Mapping and moddeling (CLRTAP, WGE), critical loads and exceedences of pollutants in target ecosystems

Prerequisites
Conditions for inclusion in the work:
Enrolment in the appropriate academic year.
Conditions for performing study obligations
Attendance at seminar and field work is compulsory. Student has to prepare and present a seminar on selected topic.
