Growth and developmental particularities of different vegetable species, and their morphological characteristics: leafy crops (lettuce, endive, radicchio, lamb's lettuce, spinach, etc..), cole crops (cabbage, cauliflower, kale, kohlrabi, etc..) alliaceous vegetables (onion, garlic, leeks); fruit crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, etc..), roots and tubers (carrots, parsley, celery, beetroot, etc..), legumes (beans, peas, faba bean), perennials (asparagus, rhubarb, horseradish, artichokes);

Different cultivation techniques and maintenance of crops - their influence on growth and development of cultivated vegetables.

The comparison of growth and development of vegetables, grown outdoors and in greenhouses.

Assortment and its role in the selection of cultivation techniques.

Preparation of production programs, taking into account natural conditions, land use, demands of cultivated vegetables and the economic performance, indicators for successful growing.

Presentation and discussion of the content of a scientific article from an international Journal.

Prerequisites

Conditions for inclusion in the work:

Enrolment in the appropriate academic year.

Prerequisite for final exam is passing preliminary examination.
