Content (Syllabus outline)

Nutrition throughout the life cycle:
- Nutrition during pregnancy and lactation (dietary requirements, changes in body composition, energy and macro and micronutrients requirements).
- Infant Nutrition: breastfeeding, breast milk, milk formula and other milks;
- Human milk bank.
-Complementary feeding for babys (0,5 – 1 year).Children nutrition in early childhood (15 years), nutrition of school children (5-10 years) and s diet during adolescence (10-19 years).
- Vegetarian diets for children.
- Nutrition for health and performance maintenance.
- Nutrition at work.
- Nutrition during  menopause.
- Nutrition for the elderly: Effect of aging on nutritional needs, dietary recommendations, physical activity.
- Nutrition in elderly nursing home.

Prerequisites

  1. Inscription in the current year of study.
  2. Finished colloquium and seminar are prerequisites for taking the final exam.
