Content (Syllabus outline)
1. Principles and organization of research
1.1 Approach to research work in the social sciences and especially economics; characteristics in the field.
1.2 Formulation of the research problem and plan of the research work, organization of the research work; principles of scientific reporting. Finding and organizing literature and data.
1.3 Types of data, methods of processing and interpretation of data.
1.4 Research work plan. Presentation of results. Principles of good reporting practice in economics.
1.5 Ethical aspects of research work.
2. Principles of project management
2.1 Project management (basic terminology, project life cycle, project manager, colleagues and project partners).
2.2 Project management in the institution; project financing.
2.3 Project planning and organization (content, time, financial, personnel).
2.4 Implementation of the project; project team management; quality control and management; project risk management; communication with the public.
2.5 Pilot preparation of a project application from conception to submission
3. Critical thinking and communication
3.1 Concept and methods of critical thinking.
3.2 Evaluation of message quality.
3.3 Characteristics of communication; verbal and non-verbal communication, assertive communication.
3.4 Complex communication: communication in difficult situations, negotiation, complaints, dispute resolution.
4. Getting to know the professional environment
4.1 Presentation of reputable companies from various branches of bioeconomy.
4.2 Presentation of government institutions (MKGP, MOP, AKTRP, ARSO, ZVNRS, IVZ); organizational structure and way of working.
4.3 Presentation of professional associations and non-governmental organizations (e.g. KGZS, NGOs in the fields of environmental protection, consumer protection); organizational structure and way of working
Prerequisites
Conditions for fulfilling study obligations:
- Participation in all forms of work.
- On-the-spot work (doing and handing in on-the-spot tasks during seminars and exercises, publishing in the e-classroom, presenting tasks, recording diaries)
