The premiere event Bioznanost in človek at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana brought together more than 250 participants from diverse scientific fields and presented science in an open and accessible way to the wider public. Held within the Month of Science and under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, the event fostered dialogue on trust in science in the age of artificial intelligence.

Moderated by Suzana Perman, the programme featured popular science talks, an interactive panel discussion, the BioScience Slam competition, and networking opportunities. Distinguished speakers included prof. Dr. Marina Dermastia, prof. Dr. Matevž Dular, Dr. Nina Beguš, and Dr. Hubert Potočnik, while the evening concluded with a panel on science communication and a Martin’s evening of bioscience with prof. Dr. Tatjana Košmerl.
