The Master’s program in Bioeconomics, jointly offered by the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, and the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, is an interdisciplinary program that combines biotechnological knowledge of biological resources with economics, management, and public policy, focusing on the sustainable use of natural resources and the development of a circular, low-carbon economy.
The two-year program enables students to acquire the knowledge needed to work at the intersection of biology, technology, economics, and sustainable development, and opens up a wide range of career opportunities in the private sector, public administration, and international institutions.
