On 14 March 2025, Prof. Dr. Marko Petrič from the Department of Wood Engineering (Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana) received the Jesenko Lifetime Achievement Award, the most prestigious award of the Biotechnical Faculty. The award, which has been presented by the Faculty since 1973, recognises outstanding achievements in science, education and contribution to the development of the economy and society.
