The documentary video reveals how climate change is affecting Slovenian forests and how different types of forest owners and managers are responding to increasingly frequent natural disasters in their forest management practices.

The head of the research project, Prof. Dr. Špela Pezdevšek Malovrh from the Department of Forestry and Renewable Forest Resources at the University of Ljubljana, explains that forest owners and managers are a very diverse group. The Learnforclimate project identified four types of forest owners and managers: multi-purpose, nature conservation-oriented, economically oriented, and traditionally oriented. A video with practical examples, graphical representations, and field footage, highlights how the decisions of forest owners and managers shape the future of forests and how important it is for policymakers and experts to develop measures that follow the characteristics, objectives, and management methods of different types of forest owners and managers.
