Teaching fundamentals of plant biology, microscopy and image analysis in courses for bachelor, master and PhD students at the Department of Biology.

Research Fields
Plant biology: plant physiology and developmental biology, genome size measurement, quantitative image analysis, data analysis. Research of plant development on cellular level: gene expression, protein localization, karyology, programmed cell death
Microscopy: molecular biology based methods (immunolocalization, in situ hybridization), histology staining, quantitative image analysis (cytometry), 3D reconstruction from tissue sections.
