The Department of Biology has a long history, it was established when the University of Ljubljana was founded. The main task of the Department of Biology is the implementation of biological study programs, and we also participate in the implementation of study programs in Microbiology, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Faculty of Education.
