  2. International Seminars in Biosciences (2nd semester)

The students will be by internationally recognised professors introduced to the current research developments and the latest in technology in a variety of domains related to Biosciences, including agriculture, food sciences, nutrition, biotechnology, microbiology, animal science, forestry and wood science. The students will be throughout the lectures encouraged to take active part in seminars and class discussions and a quiz, as well as to report on selected topics after each the class. Problem solving, teamwork, debate and oral communication skills will be reinforced. At the end of the course, students should be able to readily follow the scientific and technical language adopted in the class, thereby improving their understanding of the technical English language required for research and study within and beyond the European Union.

The students will get into contact with different teaching approaches, provided by professors from universities all around the world.
