- Sociological treatment of the concept of sustainable agriculture, "Green" revolution of new biotechnologies in risk societies
- Transnational corporations and the globalization of agriculture and food system and local implications.
- Sociological background of the restructuring of agriculture, "complementary" activities and organic farming.
- The concept of food security and the relationship between food producers and consumers, consumers’ response to bio-tech food products
Prerequisites
Conditions for inclusion in the work:
Enrolment in the appropriate academic year.
Conditions for performing study obligations
Prerequisite for final exam is submission of seminar paper.
