Content (Syllabus outline)

Environmental factors (climate, soil, urban sites, special planting forms), which affect the use of ornamental trees, herbaceous perennials and the most important annual plants in public plantings. Monitoring of the annual circle (phenological development) of selected woody plants and perennials and the definition of morphological and visual changes during the season. Training forms and principles of pruning of woody ornamentals and maintenance of herbaceous perennials. Fieldwork in the wider area of the faculty, plant identification in public space, overview of the offer and quality of woody and herbaceous ornamentals in nurseries.
