Content (Syllabus outline)

  • entrepreneurship in modern economic theory,
  • entrepreneurship as a new paradigm of the management,
  • the role of entrepreneurship in economic development in biotechnological area with emphasis on wood-industry sector,
  • types of entrepreneurship – the legal basis, the statutory and organizational forms for production sector,
  • execution of business operations, providing resources and adaptation to changes (change management),
  • employment and development of technical  human resources,
  • economic and financial-accounting basics for technical human resources (understanding of the financial statements and key performance indicators)
  • the basics of computer services and technologies for entrepreneurs, modern information services and systems
  • developing complete business plan with emphasis on specific botechnical sources planning, especially in wood-industry secotr
